OOPS! Chris Cuomo Once Referred To Himself as ‘Fredo’ In An Old Radio Interview

Earlier today we reported on CNN’s Chris Cuomo raging over a guy who called him Fredo, a name that conservatives use to refer to who is arguably the dumbest of the Cuomos, after the weak son in the movie, The Godfather.

Cuomo raged about how calling an Italian man Fredo is the equivalent to using the N-word.  I’ve heard tons of Italians chiming in on talk radio, and from many of my Italian co-workers and friends, and none of them have ever thought that the name Fredo was an ethnic slur.  Many Italians call each other Fredo as a joke.  In fact, the name being used as a joke didn’t became popular until The Godfather came out.

So, the big question of the day is can dopey man commit a hate crime against himself?  I ask this, because some reporters at the New York Post did just a tiny bit of research and found that Cuomo referred to himself as Fredo in a 2010 radio interview with Curtis Sliwa on AM 970.  The two were in a discussion about Fredo’s brother running for governor of New York.

“There is a group of people — politicos — who always hint they might run, but not necessarily plunge all the way, and they are members of la Cuomo.”

“Who am I, then, Fredo?” Cuomo asked in response.

“Yes, exactly,” Sliwa said. “So you better be careful that your brother Andrew doesn’t kiss you on both cheeks and then all of a sudden they take you out on the middle of the lake and where’s Chris?”

LISTEN:

Okay, the guy who called him Fredo should have backed down once he realized that Fredo was with his family.  We conservatives didn’t like it when Sarah Huckabee Sanders was with her family at a restaurant and a mob of leftist attacked them verbally and forced them to leave, and we didn’t like it when Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his wife were forced to leave a restaurant because a mob of leftists stood around their table screaming at them, and we didn’t like it when Tucker Carlson’s a mob of leftists went to him home where his wife and kids are and screamed epitaphs at them, and we didn’t like when Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielson was forced to leave a Mexican restaurant by a mob of leftists who were threatening her, and we didn’t like it when Glenn Beck was at a function with his wife and kids when leftist James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) walked over to his table and started calling him names, and we didn’t like it when Low IQ Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) told her supporters to harass every Trump administration official by getting in their face and telling them they’re not wanted wherever they are.

It’s funny that CNN never really made a big deal out of those attacks, but they’re standing behind Cuomo after raging and threatening to throw a guy down a flight of stairs because he referred to him as Fredo.
